Durjoy aka Zom-Bee

Durjoy started taking music seriously since 2004 and it was from then that he started composing his own songs and his only accompaniment at that time was his guitar, on which he could play only a handful of chords. Initially, he was excessively influenced by the songs of Bob Dylan and it was then that he took up the harmonica as his second instrument, and started playing both simultaneously doing that ‘one-man band act’. However, he sometimes refers to the fact that he is more of a poet than a singer. He has over eighty originals to his name and is the lead vocalist of the “Bee & the Buskers”.

Recently since October 2012, he has featured in several Anjan Dutt’s productions such as "Bertolt Brecht’s Galileo", "Only Dylan", "Shesh Bole Kichu Nei" and "Abani Opera".
